The ensemble was founded in the autumn of 2014 as an ensemble at the National School of Music and Performing Arts „Prof. Pancho Vladigerov “ in Burgas, but currently it involves selected students of different schools in the city. Its repertoire includes original arrangements of works from different style and genre – classical music with elements of beatboxing, folklore, Bulgarian and international pop and rock music. Even with its first performances the nice vision, homogeneous and expressive sound endeared the group to the audience. According to their merit they won first prize at the National Competition for Vocal Groups „Harmony“ in Stara Zagora and the Grand Prix at the International Festival „The Ship of Arts“ in Pomorie. The ensemble took part in the „Game of the Choirs“ in the „Slavi’s Show“ – 2015. The next few months brought the deserved first prize, which was accompanied by a participation in the festival „One Stage“ – Praga. In 2016 „Fortissimo“ were special guests at the Thracian Choir Festival – Yambol and closed with a concert the National Competition „Poliski Shturtsi“ – Polski Trambesh. They were invited as guests of the competition „Burgas and the Sea“ and the concert “Stefan Diomov and Friends” within the festival „Apollonia“ – 2016.
Milena Dobreva (1962, Burgas) graduated at the School of Music, Burgas, Academy of Music, Dance and Fine Arts in Plovdiv. Later she specialized Pop and Jazz Singing at the National Music Academy in Sofia and Musical Media Technologies and Sound Engineering at the Sofia University. Currently she teaches pop and jazz singing and piano at “Dimcho Debelyanov” School and pop and jazz singing and vocal ensembles at the National School of Music and Performing Arts „Prof. Pancho Vladigerov “ – Burgas.
She is founder and director of the Children’s Vocal Group „Sea Grit“ – prize winner at national and international music competitions and festivals. She makes arrangements, recording and processing of three albums of the group – „Unforgettable Children’s Songs,“ „Unforgettable Winter and Christmas Songs“ and „Unforgettable Russian Songs.“ Sound recording, processing and master of many albums of folk-style compositions, gospel ensembles as well as of individual and diverse in genre artists. Composer and arranger of popular children’s songs – awarded at the national competition „Burgas and the Sea“ and the National Children’s Song Contest „Melodious Lark“. First prize winner of the contest „Teacher of the Year“ in Bulgaria, 2008. Founder and conductor of the Vocal Ensemble „Fortissimo“.
