“Young Voices of Engelbrekt” Chamber Choir – Stockholm, Sweden

This is a newly founded choir that has only been around for a year and a half. All girls singers have previously been educated at Sweden’s famous Adolf Fredrik’s Music School where they have also been trained in choral under the direction of Karin Bäckström in Adolf Fredrik’ Girls Choir, known from numerous concerts and competitions. Today, a majority of the girls singers study at high schools with music focus. Most of the boys singers are instrumentalists studying at the Swedish Royal College of Music in Stockholm. In May 2017 the “Young Voices of Engelbrekt” won first prize in a national choir competition in Sweden. The competition in Varna is the choir’s first international appearence.
